Who We Are

United Dairymen of Idaho is the local planning and management organization responsible for increasing demand for U.S. produced dairy products on behalf of Idaho's dairy farm families.

Mission Statement

United Dairymen of Idaho endeavors to provide its investors with a return on their investment that enhances the financial stability of Idaho's dairy industry which results in a prosperous Idaho dairy industry and that drives demand for Idaho-produced dairy products through coordinated marketing, dairy image, and nutrition programs, which are communicated on behalf of Idaho's dairy farm families.

Dairy farm families throughout the United States invest 15 cents for every 100 pounds of milk they sell. A nickel supports the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board, and the remaining dime is channeled into local, state and regional programs such as United Dairymen of Idaho. This investment provides quality-marketing programs to influence dairy sales both at home and abroad.
